We booked online, it wasn't busy and the service was quick. The menu is very varied with plenty of choices at a reasonable price. You can ask for a doggy bag with the leftovers as the portions are very generous. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly, we will definitely be back!

Bistrot Saint Andre

17/09/2026: Delicious and elegant fusion cuisine, a big plus! Respectful waiters and excellent service...thank you for this lovely lunch 🙏🏼
15/09/2026: After all these years, still top-notch and still affordable 🦋 €15 - €18.50 - €22 for the 3 courses. Very pleasant. Super friendly. Two choices for the daily special. Tasty with delicious gravy with honey, but a tad too greasy and I miss vegetables... but very cheap! €10.50? How do they do it!

L'Esperance

25/09/2026: Warm atmosphere, the owner, waitress, and waiter were super friendly! We had scallops on a bed of leek fondue, it was delicious. The wine was excellent, and they served little appetizers... a very pleasant evening
20/09/2026: Probably one of the best gourmet restaurants in Angoulême. Sublime cuisine, impeccable service. Bravo Mr. Berthe, your son, and your team for your professionalism. See you soon!
