After a long day, I got exactly what I was looking for, nice and prompt service, staff knew their food and their drink, so you can ask whatever if you’re not sure. Another positive is that we weren’t rushed. Food was fabulous and the prices couldn’t be more correct.

I know it's rated highly on touristy guides, and that's why we went. To be fair the staff is trying but can't help but be overwhelmed by tourists who follow those guides. The prices are kept modest so the queue is long. The seatings are cramped and dinners are expected to sit down, order, eat pay and go all in good time. It's an interesting experience for sure, but not for everyone. The Cafe Vivienne not too far is pricier but offers better dinning experience.

I called to make a reservation and was told they don't accept them, so we showed up there at 7pm and luckily chose a nice isolated table outside for two. The view is poor, but the waiters are very friendly, we ordered a trio of meat and it was all delicious. The price among the lowest in 5 dinners in Paris

First contact with snails, so we have no comparison, but for the first time it was quite good! Herbally spiced. The fries and burger are delicious. The salmon in the salad could be served warm. A big advantage is access to sauces - you put as much as you need. Free water. A place with an atmosphere, crowded and a lot going on :D We stood in a queue outside waiting for a table, but it was worth it! (waiting time in our case about 10 minutes). Relatively close to the Louvre and the cheapest place in the area.
