BLISSS Cuisine Instinctive sur Merignac

On our fourth visit to Blisss, we were once again won over by this restaurant and its concept! Thank you to the chef for his exquisite dishes, and to Isabelle for her warm service. This is a place well worth a visit; we highly recommend it!

After countless recommendations from our friends, we finally decided to go. We arrived with expectations that matched what we'd been promised, so it wasn't a sure thing… Verdict: A truly wonderful experience, a break from the everyday, not just a meal, but a sumptuous evening enhanced by a delicious dinner. Of course, you need to be in good company, and luckily, I was 🙂. Just let yourself be carried away. And thank you to our hosts for introducing us to this place and this experience, which has so much to offer. We'll be back, hopefully very soon. Quite simply the best restaurant we've discovered in Bordeaux in four years! The experience envisioned by Isabelle and Anthony is exceptional in itself—the ambiance, the presentation, the way the "puzzles" enhance the tasting experience… everything is meticulously planned. Isabelle attends to every detail and creates an atmosphere that is both relaxed and refined, instantly putting you at ease. And what a privilege to have the chef himself present each dish! Through his explanations, you can feel his passion and his genuine desire to share his culinary art. Beyond the original concept, each dish was incredible! Flawless execution of each of the seven "puzzles": perfect mastery of techniques, choice of ingredients, flavor combinations, and precise presentation. Truly great art, driven by attention to the smallest detail. In short: go without hesitation and with your taste buds wide open!

This is the most wonderful experience in a restaurant in Bordeaux. You feel welcomed from when Isabelle opens the restaurant's door and greets the guests with a smile up till the end when they continue to surprise you with a little gift to eat later or on the following day. The food is exceptional and it's interesting and fun to try to guess the ingredients. Put this restaurant in your list when planning a trip to Bordeaux and don't let the distance from the centre discourage you. It is still worth it even when you add the taxi cost. Don't miss it!!!
