La Poubelle du Chef sur Merignac

Located near Bourran Park, this working-class, family-run restaurant owes its reputation to word of mouth, its excellent cuisine, and its reasonable prices, including wine. The menu is very good. There's an all-you-can-eat appetizer buffet with very fresh crudités and charcuterie, as well as desserts. Today's dish of the day (pork tenderloin) was excellent. There are three dining rooms and a small outdoor terrace. The service is quick and friendly.
