Passing through Dardilly, we didn't want to eat at a chain restaurant, so we randomly chose Bol d'Air. What a great choice! The place is unexpectedly welcoming, and the service is efficient and friendly. And the wine list is an Aladdin's cave! In short... we'll be back.

22/09/2026: The best canteen in Lyon. A wide selection of starters, excellent daily specials, a great variety of delicious desserts, and a warm welcome. And the best part is that you get all this with cheese, coffee, and lemonade for under €20.
17/09/2026: Passing through the region, I stopped there for dinner and had a great meal, a very good roadside restaurant!

13/09/2026: Coming from France and staying overnight in City Garden, this restaurant was the closest and served really good food. It's a typical steakhouse. The meat was only medium rare. The service was nice, but one woman seems to be working there as a punishment. I highly recommend it for meat lovers.
