Le Bol d'Air, Dardilly Some places truly live up to their name. This is one of them. You arrive by following the road that runs through Dardilly, and you might naively think that the traffic will spoil the experience. Wrong. The village is quiet, truly quiet, and the terrace does the rest: something of a holiday village, shaded just enough, where even the July heat finally takes its leave. You sit down. You're already in no hurry. The food lives up to the promise of the place: wholesome, flavorful, simple. A touch of Italy, the rest stemming from the restaurateur's choices—and that's precisely where the character is born. Nothing showy, no unnecessary frills. It's good, genuinely good, and you'll want more. Then there's the service, which is no small pleasure: a team that smiles without being pushy, that welcomes you effortlessly, and whose efficiency commands respect. You leave feeling refreshed. You'll be back soon. Like many others, I highly recommend it.
