10/12/2025: Our experience at the Ibis hotel restaurant was very mixed. We arrived around 7 pm; the restaurant was empty, there was no music, and the atmosphere was rather gloomy. We each ordered a Gin and Tonic as an aperitif and only received, after several minutes of waiting, a simple glass of Sprite disguised as a gin glass. The young woman serving was friendly but didn't speak French very well. As for the meal, we ordered the hamburger, which was supposed to have bacon and raclette cheese, but in the end, we received neither, instead cheddar cheese. The experience was far from pleasant; moreover, it was cold in the restaurant, and the atmosphere was definitely lacking. The next morning, we had the buffet breakfast included with our room. The quality of the service, the welcome, and the atmosphere were very different from the previous day. Overall, it is preferable to eat breakfast, but it is better to avoid dinner.

18/05/2026: This place is a little Proustian madeleine for me; it's where I used to come as a child with my parents, and it hasn't changed a bit 🩷 The service is excellent, especially in the kitchen. The chef who serves the meat is very pleasant and always brings a smile 😊 The dishes are still as varied as ever, the prices are reasonable [€20 on average per person], and it's child-friendly with a play area to keep them entertained, as well as wheelchair accessible. I hope to return to this place in a few months during my next trip to Lyon.

15/05/2026: Date: May 15, 2025 at 4:15 PM Quite honestly, a mind-boggling experience at Flunch. How is it possible to leave ONE SINGLE employee to manage absolutely the entire service? Cashiering, the dessert bar, preparing/cooking meals… it's simply unacceptable. The most shocking thing about this situation is that despite a completely absurd workload, this employee remained professional, calm, and efficient from beginning to end, without ever complaining. Honestly, total respect to her. The problem clearly doesn't lie with the staff but with the organization and management of the restaurant. Placing the entire burden of service on a single person is disrespectful to both customers and employees. You immediately feel the lack of resources, and this inevitably degrades the experience. Such a situation should never happen in a restaurant open to the public. I will never return to this establishment. I sincerely regret my visit and the money I spent there. Very disappointed to have had such an experience.
