I had a good time. The all-you-can-eat buffet at 20 euros is pretty good. It was very tasty and the staff were welcoming.

Excellent experience at Bombay Palace in Lyon 5. The buffet had a great variety of dishes, everything was fresh, flavorful, and very good value for money. A special mention to Umar, who was an exceptional host — very welcoming, attentive, and made us feel genuinely well looked after. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good Indian food in Lyon.

We had a lovely meal at Bombay Palace. The buffet was delicious with plenty of options, and the quality was much better than we expected for an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Umar deserves a special mention for his wonderful hospitality — warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our meal. Great food, great service, and excellent value. Would happily come back.

Limited selection... The meat dishes in sauce were okay... But I wouldn't come back. The desserts are best forgotten. The cold water was fine... but too hard.

Rose Indien

31/08/2026: Passing through Lyon, we stumbled upon Le Rose Indien… and sometimes, chance truly works wonders! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner's niece, a veritable ray of sunshine, whose kindness instantly brought a smile to your face. Then came the journey… A journey on the plate, first and foremost, with dishes of exceptional quality, prepared with finesse, passion, and care. Each bite was a discovery. And subsequently, we discovered much more than just a restaurant… Thanks to the owner, a true enthusiast, we traveled through history. What a joy to connect with someone who shares their knowledge with such passion and generosity. We left with our taste buds tingling, our heads brimming with wonderful discoveries, and our hearts filled with the joy of a truly beautiful encounter. There are restaurants we appreciate… and then there are those we never forget. Le Rose Indien is undoubtedly one of those places. A magnificent experience, a culinary and cultural journey, and an encounter that will stay with us forever. I highly recommend this place! ++++ If you're in Lyon, let chance be your guide… and step inside Le Rose Indien.
