Book In Bar sur Aix-En-Provence

This international bookstore, located opposite the Hôtel de Caumont, is a real gem! It's very well-stocked with English-language books, covering all genres of fiction—novels, comics, and manga—but also academic works, travel books, law books, art books—in short, you'll find all kinds of books at Book in Bar! And the opportunity to enjoy a coffee and cheesecake amidst the bookshelves is fantastic! A must-visit!

I was looking forward to it after seeing reviews saying there were Korean books, but there weren't many. The atmosphere was nice, the staff were friendly, and the scones were delicious. They come to take your order once you're seated. You pay when you leave. I couldn't take pictures of the foreign books because they were expensive even though they were thin. There is also a restroom on the second floor.

great vibes ! i didn't order a drink but just enjoyed browsing this bookstore full of good selections in English.. the curation of titles i think is superb.. this bookstore knows its readers :) and takes pride also in presenting the culture of Provence through its book selections :)

One of the few places in Provence where you can purchase English books, I always love stopping by when I'm in Aix. The Chai latte is delicious and the atmosphere is calm - the best spot for expats to cozy up with a book! If only there would me more places like this in Provence!

I love the relaxed, slightly bohemian atmosphere of this place. Having tea in the middle of a stylish bookstore is a great experience. Seats are limited 😀
