Located opposite the Hôtel de Caumont, it's a quiet bookstore and café. Try their daily recommended cakes and coffees – a very nice experience, and the staff are very welcoming.

Quirky bookshop and cafe with a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent range of English language novels and current affairs paperbacks. Tea and cake plus air conditioning really attracts the students and the tourists!

My favorite place in Aix! Books to discover, but above all, an incredible welcome and the chance to enjoy this unique atmosphere while dining and ordering a sweet treat. I had a wonderful experience as the staff were incredibly helpful with finding books for my young daughter's school. To make things even better, the price is amazing and cannot be beaten anywhere else. Well worth the trip if you are in need of any books for school.

16/09/2026: We discovered Mitch in Aix-en-Provence yesterday with my daughter, and we had a wonderful time. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the French cuisine. The dishes may seem simple at first glance, but from the moment you taste them, you understand all the work, research, and preparation that go into each plate. The flavors are perfectly balanced, the combinations well thought out, and the ingredients are truly showcased and fresh. A big thank you also to the service. You immediately feel their passion for the craft. The presentation of each dish is accompanied by explanations of its creation and the different stages of preparation. It's enjoyable, informative, and allows you to appreciate what you're eating even more. A truly wonderful discovery, both for the food and for the warm welcome and service. A restaurant where you can feel a genuine passion and a desire to please. Thank you to the entire team at Mitch for this delightful experience. We will definitely be back.
