Bougeotte sur Saint-Malo

Chance led us to this little restaurant this morning, where we had the pleasure of having breakfast. It's an unpretentious place, with incredibly friendly and attentive staff. We ordered two espressos, a Mexican hot chocolate, a black tea, and a small hot chocolate for children. We also had two organic fried eggs with seasonal vegetables, two cookies, and the "Croque Bougeotte" of the day, a pure delight: smoked mozzarella, tomatoes, green pesto, mustard cream, caramelized onions, with an extra fried egg. The service was quick and everything was fresh, so it was very good. We paid €44 for everything, which is very reasonable. The decor is quite original, with upcycled items, cushions made from African fabrics (like pagnes), and a small outdoor terrace. There's also a whole cart set up to keep children entertained: crayons, markers, books, small toys, puzzles, etc. The clientele is very diverse. We had a wonderful time as a family. I recommend it.

While passing through St Malo, we had the pleasure of brunching at La Bougeotte on Sunday at lunchtime. And it was truly the best culinary experience of our weekend! A friendly and energetic team, original and delicious dishes, perfectly portioned dishes… the children's menu is also perfect! We wish them every success.

We had a wonderful lunch during our visit to St Malo. The food was delicious, the setting very pleasant, and the welcome very warm. Plus, everything is geared towards children, with small cups, high chairs, and even games available to keep them entertained.

A sure bet for brunch, lunch, or afternoon tea in Saint-Malo! This is my second time here during a stay within the city walls, and the quality hasn't diminished. The seasonal menu changes daily, and fresh produce is showcased in balanced yet generous portions. The staff is very welcoming, professional, and efficient! Don't hesitate to ask them for advice if needed. Plus, the place is kid-friendly.

While passing through Saint-Malo, we stumbled upon this gem and weren't disappointed. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The dishes are homemade and the ingredients are fresh. The portions are very generous. ⭐️ Special mention for the croque monsieur of the day with homemade focaccia, smoked mozzarella, basil pesto, and onions confit in cider vinegar, served with potatoes: it was delicious! We didn't have room for dessert, but they looked delicious 😊 The service is friendly and welcoming ♡ It's the perfect place for a delicious lunch. I highly recommend it! ♡ If we're ever back in Saint-Malo, we'll definitely return.

Such a lovely breakfast spot! Everything was fresh and delicious, great coffee, friendly service and a cosy atmosphere. So good I’m coming back tomorrow!

Delicious!! The dishes are incredibly elaborate, made with a variety of healthy ingredients. Definitely recommended if you're in the area.
