A lovely little place. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. They have a children's menu! The servers' friendly attitude is contagious, so everyone feels relaxed!

Of all the small restaurants, this one caught our attention the most thanks to its friendly atmosphere. The service is quick and the staff are particularly pleasant. No complaints whatsoever; we'll gladly return!

A family-friendly restaurant with two children. Excellent value for money in the walled city of Saint-Malo. Fresh, high-quality seafood. The welcome was truly warm and friendly, and the service impeccable. I highly recommend it.

The mussels there are absolutely delicious! And the prices are very reasonable. We ate on the terrace, which was very quiet. The service was quick and the staff very friendly; I highly recommend it! However, remember to book ahead, especially during peak season.

We were welcomed into a warm, family atmosphere! The servers were so friendly and friendly, we had a wonderful evening! Thank you to them. It was perfect. They shouldn't change a thing! Their delicious food combined with their good humor... warms the heart. If we lived in the area, this place would become our favorite. We would come back to Saint-Malo just to relive this experience. We had mussels and fries, and it was a real treat! Homemade fries and good-sized mussels. The wine was good and chilled. We highly recommend this restaurant. Laeti and Nico, the bikers from the Vosges.

Discovered four years ago, and back again this year, still just as impressed. The mussels in garlic cream sauce are a must-try. Extremely kind and welcoming, Café Simon is an essential stop for us in Saint-Malo.

14/06/2026: This place is amazing. Unique ambience. Simple menu choices, yet excellent and beautifully executed.
10/06/2026: What a lovely host and what fantastic food. A very nice place that reminded me a lot of Koffie enzo in Delft. The host grew up in England so he speaks fluent English, but is French. What a fantastic person. We both had the lunch menu (soup of the day (2 types), salad, and a croque monsieur (3 types)). Very tasty!
