3 customers, 15 minutes wait for 2 to be at the counter and here it's not the customers, there are people waiting but we keep the same pace, plan your morning for 1 baguette or chocolate, I avoid them for the lunch break otherwise you take your break in the queue.

I go there every day, the bread is excellent, the saleswomen are lovely and the store is always well-maintained.

On each of my visits (and I go regularly), the waiters and waitresses have always given me a warm welcome and have always been friendly, unlike some customers for whom politeness is simply not an option. Every purchase I've made (bread, pastries, or sandwiches) has always been of high quality. I can understand that during busy periods, it's difficult to please everyone, especially the grumpiest ones. Nothing will stop me from returning to Marie Blachère. Best of luck to all the staff who work there.

Friendly welcome and quality products. The only downside was the cleanliness of the toilets. It's clear they haven't been cleaned for several days.

I always visit here when in the area. Presentation always looks great albeit not an artisan boulangerie but mass produced. It is a popular place for pastries and breads not to mention lunchtime options, pizza, sandwiches and salads. Lots of variety. The staff are usually polite but due to thr popularity they are rushing customers through. The eating is generally clean however it does not have a warming atmosphere. The toilets are not good, and many a time I choose not to go as they are dirty and appear not to have been cleaned or if they have been then more effort is needed on a regular basis....
