The food is excellent and plentiful. The sauerkraut is mild and the braised ham hock melts in your mouth. The two-chocolate mousse is a marvel (and I don't usually like chocolate mousse). There were a few hiccups in the service, but nothing dramatic. It's quite noisy when it's full, but that's to be expected in a slightly upscale bistro setting. Prices are reasonable.

The food is okay, but nothing special. The fries are tasty. We were initially brought the wrong drinks, and the waitress also misunderstood one of the dishes.
The service itself, however, is quick.

I highly recommend it. A great spot next to the cathedral, popular with locals. You have to go into the inner courtyard. The restaurant is at the back, so the terrace is quiet compared to the hustle and bustle of the street. We loved the food and the impeccable service. It's best to book ahead, especially during the Christmas market.

We called the restaurant at 11:00 AM. The warm welcome from the person on the other end of the line immediately made us want to go.
Upon arrival, we received a very pleasant welcome from all the staff.
But we were particularly charmed by the waiter with the very tanned skin, if I may say so 🙏. He was incredibly kind 😍 and had a great sense of humor that had us in stitches 🤣. If he reads the comments, he'll certainly recognize himself 🙏. He asked me if I ate my onion soup with a fork 🤣🤣 because there wasn't a spoon available.
One thing is for sure: we will be back because everything was perfect from beginning to end.

Very welcoming. Traditional dishes= meat! They do fresh spatzel and noodles! I had the roasted pork knuckle, delicious! It was roasted until it was almost off the bone, served with the jus, asked for bread to enjoy the jus. I am not a meat person, but love how the French cook meat so it is light and rich at the same time. The salmon with noodles looked really good by the way, I had to go hard core Alsace for my first meal.
