Brasserie Au Dauphin sur Strasbourg

A place I had the pleasure of frequenting many years ago. While the dishes are very good, the salad is really quite basic and not worthy of this restaurant. The waitresses don't seem happy to be working and are rather unfriendly. It's also a shame that customers are allowed to smoke at their tables, even on the terrace; I would have appreciated being able to enjoy my meal without the smell.

The food is consistently excellent. Special mention to our slightly shy but incredibly friendly waiter. Our first time dining on the terrace was absolutely fantastic!

The tarte flambée was delicious! The service was excellent: friendly, quick, efficient, and attentive. The only downside: it was a bit noisy due to the groups.

Great restaurant opposite the cathedral! My phone broke down that day, so unfortunately I don't have any photos to share... You'll just have to take my word for it 😅 We arrived a little late for lunch (1:30 pm, I think) without a reservation. 🍔 We all opted for the cheeseburger with Alsatian Tomme cheese. They were delicious. The fries that came with them were also great. The crudités were fresh. One small hiccup: we weren't asked how we wanted our meat cooked. But that's a minor detail. The service was slow. It was busy, including a birthday party in the back room. That's understandable. Since we had planned some sightseeing, we cut our lunch short and skipped dessert. We ate inside. The atmosphere is charming and typical. There were a few crumbs on the benches, but with the high turnover, I imagine it's the kind of detail that can easily go unnoticed. The terrace looked lovely. I imagine it must be even more pleasant in the evening. In short, a great place to remember if we're ever in the area again!

We've been dining at this restaurant for years, either on the terrace or inside. Never disappointed.

This place is really great. Located in the city center, it offers a private terrace with a varied menu. Very good food.
