Definitely very touristy. The staff was friendly, though, and the price-performance ratio was okay for the location. The only thing that bothered me was the blossoms from the adjacent tree, as hundreds of them literally rained down and some ended up in my drink, food, or hair.

It’s the second time for us eating here. We had to search in our photos to find it, because we remembered this place. the food is good, the atmosphere great and our server was excelent, it is a treat to see him jumping between French and English and keeping the same energy. Also his wine recommendation was excelent. Definitely recommending this place.

A wonderful surprise! It was my first time dining on the terrace, and the setting is particularly pleasant. We were served promptly, and all our dishes were excellent! Special mention to the servers for their warm welcome and infectious good humor.

Ideally located a stone's throw from the Cathedral and Petite France, a beautiful terrace, reasonable prices, very friendly service and a very nice cocktail menu based on Lillet!

Nice restaurant with a good atmosphere and friendly service. The food is not of extraordinary quality or special, but simply good and creative dishes. We were a group of 5; for half of us it was slightly disappointing, while for the other half it exceeded expectations. The schnitzel is highly recommended! A plus point was the DJ on the terrace, which provided nice background music and a fun atmosphere.

A lovely restaurant with great food and great service. We had the Flammkuechle with cheese and with salmon and were recommended the Pistachio tiramisu, all of which were absolute treats. Would definitely recommend dining here.

Brasserie Au Dauphin

24/07/2026: Hello, While on holiday in the area, we had the opportunity to have lunch at 1:30 pm in this brasserie. Located opposite the cathedral, yet in a quiet corner, this brasserie is pleasant for families, couples, or groups of friends. We ate inside because we wanted a more intimate setting, but their terrace is just as lovely. Whether the food is traditional or not, almost everything is homemade. The staff is friendly and respectful of your time at the table. The price is very reasonable: €70 for four people, including two children's menus (two courses each) and two aperitifs. I recommend it.
23/07/2026: This restaurant is located opposite the cathedral, and despite the number of tourists, once you arrive in the inner courtyard where the terrace is situated, the place is calm and peaceful. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly. I personally ordered a tarte flambée, and it was delicious—perfectly cooked and thin, not heavy at all. I thoroughly enjoyed it! The prices are also very reasonable. A small bonus: the restrooms are spotless. The only downside I can mention is that some of the tables on the terrace were quite close together, and we were eating a little with our neighbors, but it wasn't unbearable. I recommend this place and will gladly return. 😊
