Strasbourg seemed expensive for Italians, and for a reasonable price, the only option left was to accept the almost standard fare offered by local brasseries: tarte flambé, a thin, crispy pastry filled with bacon, onion, and cheese. A piadina sold for the price of a gourmet pizza. This is what the Quai de l'Ill allows, but at least the location on the riverbank is pleasant and breezy in this surreal late-May heat. The service is courteous and fast.

Seated on the terrace as a party of four, we were lucky enough to be served by J-J (aka Jean-Jacques to his friends). The service was excellent and the food very good. Thank you to the whole team.

An excellent experience!
While passing through Strasbourg, a friend (Axelle) warmly recommended this restaurant, and we were absolutely not disappointed!
Bastien made our meal truly enjoyable: welcoming, smiling, and full of humor—a big thank you to him!
The portions are generous, and the quality is excellent. Our only slight complaint: the sauces were charged extra (€2.50), which we'd never seen anywhere else. It's a shame for such a small detail, which could easily be included.
We won't hesitate to return on our next trip to Strasbourg!
