Brasserie de la Gare sur Beaugency

Warm welcome and professional service. The coffee is excellent. I'm eager to eat there soon as this restaurant has a very good reputation.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance before catching my train, and I was delighted. The atmosphere is simple and friendly, the service quick and pleasant, the cuisine home-style (capon with morels and plaice with beurre blanc sauce that day), and all at an unbeatable price. It was a very pleasant surprise!

The restaurant is very well located, in a quiet area with parking available. Good value for money. The food is prepared with care.

While in Beaugency for three days, I tried this brasserie for lunch. In 2025, it cost €14.50 for a buffet starter, a homemade main course, and a homemade dessert. I don't think there's anything else to add. Oh, yes, it was very good!!! I found somewhere to eat for the three days I was there.
