Honestly, everything was perfect! The welcome, the service, the atmosphere, and especially the food—nothing to complain about. It's exactly the kind of restaurant I love: a pleasant setting, a friendly team, efficient service, and truly delicious dishes. You feel comfortable there, you eat well, and you leave wanting to come back. For me, it's absolutely ideal!

Good food and impeccable service

We managed to snag a table here on our last evening of the holiday. The terrace was packed and looked inviting. I chose the Pad Thai, which, according to the description, was supposed to be prepared with ginger, coriander, shallots, and lime. Unfortunately, I received noodles with a yellow sauce that tasted strongly of curry. After a few bites, that started to become quite off-putting. The burger was OK; some fries were nice and fresh, while others looked like they had been fried before. The dessert menu was not brought after we requested it, and glasses were cleared without asking. That felt a bit unwelcoming. All in all, it was unfortunately a bit of a letdown for us. It's a shame, because with a bit more passion and attention, there is certainly potential.

Great food! Great service and a beautiful location! I have no complaints about the food. Be warned, though, if you're seated at table one, the owner tells his waitresses to, and I quote, "Oh, annoying people, put them at table one or they'll be a pain the whole meal." Jean did seem particularly blunt, but I think there's a more subtle way to say it.

Contemporary and light dinner on a lovely terrace at a square in the old centre of Beaugency Situated in the ‘old village centre’ of Beaugency, on a square, lovely laidback ambiance to have dinner. We felt like a light dinner, rather than the standard French bistro style & tourist traps, on walking distance from our hotel Le Beaugency. And found Teo Jasmin, the menu on the website listed contemporary food + you can reserve online, which was really handy as I was booking a table while on the highway. The staff was friendly, welcoming and spoke English (not always the case in France). The menu is contemporary and offered sufficient options to avoid cow’s dairy as I have an allergy for it. For starters, we had roasted goat’s crottins (small round soft goat cheese) topped with honey, walnuts on toast with a bit of salad and a hummus, avocado, toast starter. For mains, I opted for a grilled salmon with what I was told, their twist on Pad Thai. Indeed, it was more of a curry dish than a stir-fried dish, with, as I realised later, unfortunately not coconut milk, but probably cow’s milk, and a grilled salmon dish. All was fresh & light. The place is also popular with locals and tourists alike, and I noticed, families. Lovely terrace on the square with shadow sheets, which they rolled up (hard work) later in the day. Interior is also nice and contemporary. On the first floor, opposite to the toilets, there is a wall with French and other celebrities who have visited the place.

A very well-served meal for three: succulent rump steak, Savoyard hamburger, fresh steak. We will be back.

A very good restaurant offering quality cuisine in a stylish and pleasant setting. The dishes are well-prepared with good ingredients, and the decor adds a truly warm touch to the place. A reliable and efficient establishment.
