Brasserie de la Gare sur Montpellier

27/02/2026: A lovely surprise :) There were five adults and one child for lunch. We were seated upstairs, which was small but intimate. The menu choices are simple but very well executed. The flavors were spot on and the prices very reasonable (one steak tartare, one cassoulet, two lasagnas, two veal Milanese, with desserts between €6 and €9 and drinks, the bill came to between €120 and €130 for six people). The young, inexperienced waiter was pleasant; he lacks experience and doesn't yet have the reflexes to conserve energy in this profession (especially with the stairs), but his kindness was very welcome. A great find, we'll be back!

08/02/2026: Lunch on a Saturday at noon with the daily special (steak with homemade dauphinoise potatoes) for €15, and homemade dessert (tiramisu) for €6.50. Excellent value for money! We'll be back!
