I went home to have a coffee with my wife, but the owner stayed in his corner; there was nobody there except us. Luckily the TV was on, the atmosphere was really gloomy.

14/04/2026: Our go-to restaurant when traveling to Alès (from Nîmes). Close to the Sunday market and the Gardon River, in a shady spot, we've always received a warm welcome, friendly and quick service. The food is carefully prepared and plentiful. The home-style cooking is good, and everything is excellent value for money. A very reputable establishment.

20/03/2026: The setting is lovely and the food is good. The service is truly pleasant and attentive, and the restaurant is easily wheelchair accessible. A very good experience.
