Brasserie des Freres Alphand sur Vallouise

We arrived to have dinner (4 of us, us and 2 children), but it was late, 9.30pm. We were told there was only raclette. We accept but my son doesn't eat cheese and my daughter would have eaten a sandwich at home They bring us raclette for 2 people. The food was very good and we ask the waitress if it was for 2 people and she confirms for 2, with the menu in hand we tell her will we pay 68 euros? She says yes. For us it's a lot. But other restaurants in the area had already closed their kitchens. He asks us if we wanted some dishes for our children to share. My son eats bread. My daughter eats raclette with us. The bill arrives and they wanted to charge us for 4. The owner said that whoever eats pays. Which is how it is used here in France. We didn't know and the waitress wasn't clear. In the end we paid for 3. Because my son didn't really eat anything. The raclette was very good, but not knowing this rule we felt cheated.

A mountain atmosphere as we like it! Fun and relaxation with rigor in the work. The waiters are always friendly and attentive to serve you best. A nice shout-out to the beer fondue which is excellent and the refill option... we love it!

Bières excellentes, salades sympathiques.

Un très bon accueil même en arrivant sans réservation et en plein feu. De très bonnes bières (blonde et la 3 pistes), des Bretzels faits maison et excellents ! Nous avons essayé les salades le lendemain et très bien également. Nous y reviendrons sans hésiter pour tester le reste.

Très belle terrasse, avec des serveurs chaleureux, une super ambiance. Ça fait maintenant quelques années que je viens à vallouise et je suis toujours aussi satisfaite de cette brasserie / restaurant . La fondue ainsi que la raclette sont excellentes, le coca la bière ainsi que d’autres boissons sont faites maison et les plats régionaux sont également excellents !! Très beau cadre et personnel à l’écoute. Je recommande !
