We had a wonderful time in this charming, tastefully decorated brasserie. On the walls, you'll see beautiful photos of Belley from the last century. A master chef presents sublime recipes, excellent cuisine made with quality local produce. If you're a fan of steak tartare, it's prepared with a knife, perfectly seasoned, and according to traditional methods. We all loved our dishes. Trying regional specialties is a delight. And let's not forget the desserts, a true feast for the eyes and the palate. Ending on such a high note is excellent 😊
A must-try restaurant in Belley. Don't hesitate, go and try it 😉

I'm from Lyon and I was delighted to eat at this brasserie in the heart of Belley. We had a wonderful meal; the dishes were excellent (I highly recommend the shredded duck). The staff and owners were particularly welcoming. It was a delightful discovery, thank you!

The prices were very high considering the lack of harmony in the flavors...
Furthermore, I understand that diots (sausages) are naturally salty, but this was really excessive! And yet, I'm someone who usually eats very salty food, which is why I'm emphasizing this point. (Otherwise, I would have thought that I was the one who didn't eat enough salt.) I even had trouble finishing my plate; I had to force myself, which is quite rare for me! At this point, it's almost a health concern...
On the other hand, the desserts and appetizers were quite good.

A place I really enjoy going to, whether for a quick lunch or a more refined and pleasant dinner.
I've been there many times with my children over the past few years, and they're always delighted, which is a good sign because they appreciate good food!
I particularly appreciate the warmth of the welcome and the service. One telling detail: I've sometimes seen a young person who was clearly just starting out. A few minor oversights, a few imperfections during service... but always politeness, a smile, and apologies when something goes wrong. And there's clearly a great atmosphere among the team. When you mention that you appreciate it, you can see that the staff are touched. They take their job to heart.
And as for the main thing, the food: you're never disappointed. The dishes are well-crafted and expertly prepared; the portions are good (not enormous, it must be said, but perfectly adequate). The menu isn't huge, but there's plenty of choice. Right up to dessert, it's truly flawless.
Special mention for the beer: what a pleasure to be able to enjoy Warsteiner on tap...
