We had a wonderful time in this charming, tastefully decorated brasserie. On the walls, you'll see beautiful photos of Belley from the last century. A master chef presents sublime recipes, excellent cuisine made with quality local produce. If you're a fan of steak tartare, it's prepared with a knife, perfectly seasoned, and according to traditional methods. We all loved our dishes. Trying regional specialties is a delight. And let's not forget the desserts, a true feast for the eyes and the palate. Ending on such a high note is excellent 😊 A must-try restaurant in Belley. Don't hesitate, go and try it 😉

Discovered by chance. A very warm welcome from the manager who made room for eight of us. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I highly recommend it.

I'm from Lyon and I was delighted to eat at this brasserie in the heart of Belley. We had a wonderful meal; the dishes were excellent (I highly recommend the shredded duck). The staff and owners were particularly welcoming. It was a delightful discovery, thank you!

The prices were very high considering the lack of harmony in the flavors... Furthermore, I understand that diots (sausages) are naturally salty, but this was really excessive! And yet, I'm someone who usually eats very salty food, which is why I'm emphasizing this point. (Otherwise, I would have thought that I was the one who didn't eat enough salt.) I even had trouble finishing my plate; I had to force myself, which is quite rare for me! At this point, it's almost a health concern... On the other hand, the desserts and appetizers were quite good.

01/10/2025: A huge thank you for this fabulous reception, meal, and brunch! Our guests and we were won over, as were our taste buds. Christophe brought all his expertise to our wedding, with elegance and finesse for this reception and this high-flying meal. We recommend Le Comptoir de l’Atelier without hesitation.
20/09/2025: What can I say, except that the support of Christophe and his team was the centerpiece of the success of this beautiful day that was our wedding. As a side note, we decided on homemade crackers, figuring that if even a small accompaniment like this was excellent, the rest would follow. And it was the case, from the incredible reception to the main course, the cheese buffet, and our brunch the next day, our guests were delighted by this sublime work. As for us, we had the pleasure of working with a passionate and attentive chef. We had two vegan guests, which can be a challenge for a caterer, but Christophe rose to the challenge by offering several solutions tailored to them. Thank you again for everything, Christophe and your team. Without you, our wedding would not have been the same, and we are happy to have had you by our side for this big day. Virgile & Louison
