21/08/2024: The dishes and pastries are of quality, the pastries very refined in the good image of French gastronomy. 5 stars. The service on the other hand is dichotomous: young people and seniors. Young people live up to what is expected of the service and catering sector: Helpful, smiling, willing to communicate and give clarifications. This is valid for those in the room and the young person outside who was in front of the ice cream bar. They were overwhelmed, as there was a long queue for takeaways, the pastry must have been the best in town, but the young staff were not fazed. This good, intense attendance may explain why the service was slow. There was however a bit of a lack of coordination, the waiter who served the dishes went relatively quickly. On the other hand, our ice cream that we ordered in the dining room took a long time to arrive that we had to get up to remind people that we were waiting for our ice cream. The young man seemed disoriented, could not find us. But once again his courtesy in expressing, I'm sorry is enough to forget this incident.
Now dichotomy why? The senior staff's behavior was poor, showing no interest in those who chose to come to them! Ignoring customers. We went into the next room where there were the chocolates. A senior entered there with a lady who had to buy something or to show her a list of items. She saw us clearly, we were waiting for her to at least speak to us, if only to say we will serve you but we will have to wait a little. When she is finished with the client, she leaves the room, without saying anything, and without returning. After 5 or 7 minutes alone, we came out to enter the pastry room with the aim of reminding people once again that we would like chocolate and a lot of it in fact. What chic for us, we see her in the room, not serving anyone at the counter, what respect for customers who spent quite a bit at home in less than 45 minutes and who wanted to buy more. This gives the impression that I don't need you for my business, it's you who need my good products, not a very positive image of local commerce.
For the behavior of the seniors we rate 3 stars but to be fair to their young people, they deserve 4
