Brasserie du Casino sur Vichy

Valentine's Day meal: very disappointed. The amuse-bouches were clearly defrosted. The starters were just okay. The main course: the willow meunière was very dry. The beef tournedos was burnt to a crisp, even though we ordered it rare, and the vegetables were cold for both courses. The desserts were uninteresting for this occasion. And the whole thing was overpriced at €60 for such poor quality. This was our second time there, and we don't plan on going back! Despite our complaints, no compensation was offered.

The food was excellent, with a couple of minor issues today (many dishes were unavailable, no children's menu, and the nuggets weren't served cold...). However, the waiter was very professional and made a gesture of goodwill at the till. The food was very good overall. Thank you for the warm welcome.

The staff is friendly, the food is quite good, but the portions are too small, which explains the reasonable prices. We left feeling rather unsatisfied after our starter, main course, and dessert. Desserts are definitely not their strong point. The skate wing was served with crushed potatoes, not mashed potatoes as advertised on the menu. I had come to eat the porcini mushroom risotto, which was unfortunately replaced with lasagna. The tables are much too close together.

The restaurant is a revival of a former brasserie. It offers the same concept as traditional broths, with simple, classic dishes like those our mothers used to make. But for it to truly evoke that Proustian feeling, those recipes would need to be followed, which isn't the case. It's a shame, because it's the little things that make all the difference.

Family meal for a birthday, excellent value for money, very warm welcome, everything was delicious from appetizer to dessert. A historic restaurant to recommend, located near the Vichy Opera House. We will gladly return. Keep up the good work, congratulations to the whole team!

The interior is beautiful, the cutlery is excellent. That's all there is to it. The tables are very close together, so you can't help but overhear your neighbors' conversations. An hour before closing for the afternoon break, many dishes and desserts were already unavailable. We ordered two entrees, a salad, and dessert with tea. The tea arrived first. I had to explain to the waitress that tea is served at the end of the meal. The terrine was ordinary, the lasagna was simply awful, the worst we've ever had. The beef and rice were bland and tasteless. The profiteroles were presented unusually, but also tasteless. I liked the tea, and the panna cotta was very tasty. I also liked the hot chocolate served with the profiteroles. I had no desire to return.

The welcome and service were top-notch. The atmosphere is friendly and the setting is simply magnificent. The dishes offer excellent value for money. The Bouillon spirit is definitely present! We highly recommend it 👍

Overall, it's good, except it gets extremely crowded around 7 pm, making it noisy and confusing for the service... My advice: go before 7 pm. One drawback: when the waitresses are preparing the service and putting away the cutlery, if something slips out of their hands and falls on the floor, it's immediately put back in the cutlery trays. Not very hygienic, which is a shame. And when it's full, the tables are too close together... no privacy at all; you're eating with your neighbor.

Excellent experience at Bouillon des Artistes. Top-notch welcome and service! Warm atmosphere and delicious food! Everything you could want from a bouillon restaurant. 😉 We highly recommend it and are already planning our return visit very soon. Keep up the good work!
