I came here on the recommendation of a colleague from Saarbrücken. The food was quite good, especially the flour dumplings, which I really enjoyed. And the bread, of course—it was truly excellent. Next time, however, I would order a second appetizer instead of a main course; the burger was okay, but a quiche Lorraine would definitely have been better.
I did like the ambiance; I would have loved to take some of the beautiful faience pieces home with me.
With only two waiters, the restaurant was sparsely staffed on a Wednesday evening at the end of September 2026. As a result, I had to wait a bit here and there—for the wine, the coffee, or the bill.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family evening at this restaurant. The flammkuchen we shared as a starter were delicious and generously filled. Everyone loved the main courses. We weren't too hungry anymore, so one scoop of ice cream was enough for dessert.

We had lunch outside on the terrace. The location is beautiful and quiet. The service is friendly, but they only speak French, and the menu is also only in French.
The food was fine and looked neat, but it wasn't to my taste. Too much vinegar in combination with the salmon.
They didn't really have a lunch menu either, so we ordered a starter.

Excellent value for money! We sat on the terrace right by the Saar River. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food and wine were excellent.
