No complaints whatsoever. We received a very warm welcome. We chose a mussel and prawn risotto, which I found excellent. I highly recommend it 😊

A very pretty sunny terrace, and a very interesting cuisine (a special mention for the hot Grand-Marier soufflé, excellent!) Quite full at lunchtime.

I agree with the other reviews: this brasserie definitely deserves a better rating than it currently has. We discovered it somewhat by chance, and the experience turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. The welcome was warm and the service particularly enjoyable, always accompanied by a smile. As for the food, we all thoroughly enjoyed it: the prawn risotto, the scallops with chestnut purée, and the salmon tartare were all delicious and perfectly executed. For dessert, the chocolate in three textures was indulgent, but a truly crunchy element would have provided a very welcome contrast. Special mention goes to a touch of thoughtfulness that's become rare these days: amuse-bouches served even before the aperitifs were ordered—a delicate gesture that demonstrates the care taken with the customer experience. An address I highly recommend.

Excellent set menu (veal flank steak, fries, and praline tart) with very good value for money. A small gougère was served as an amuse-bouche. The à la carte dishes are a bit more expensive!

On a busy Saturday night in Bourg-en-Bresse, this was the fourth restaurant we tried — everywhere else was fully booked. Brasserie du Théâtre was the only place that managed to accommodate us, and we’re very glad they did. The food was excellent, the wine list is very rich with plenty of good choices, and the desserts were very tasty. They also offer a huge variety of ice cream and sorbets, which is a great bonus to finish the meal. A reliable and welcoming place, especially when the town is full. Definitely worth a visit.

Business lunch on a Monday evening. We were in a hurry, but that didn't stop us from having a truly delicious meal. Well done to the whole team!
