La Patrie sur Lyon

A true Lyonnaise brasserie, just the way we like them. The welcome is fantastic; you immediately feel at ease. The menu is enticing, well-prepared, and very generous. Everything was excellent. The owner is lovely, and the young waiter is very attentive. A great place!

Traditional restaurant on Avenue de Saxe, a pleasant place, exceptionally high-quality dishes...the owners, the waiter, and the chef are all lovely. Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed 🙂

We stumbled upon this place by chance; our reservation at another brasserie was cancelled without warning: the shutters were down! We walked to La Patrie and what a wonderful discovery! The manager was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and always smiling! And the dishes prepared by his mother were fantastic (thank you, Madam). A truly delightful find!

Very good meal and very warm welcome

We arrived for a meal booked by phone on a Friday at lunchtime for 11 elderly ladies. The welcome was unpleasant, our reservation wasn't taken into account, and we were greeted by a very unfriendly woman. Mistakes happen, but in this case, a decent welcome would have been the bare minimum. In the end, we were admitted anyway. (I'm not talking about an apology, of course.) Their organization was clearly very disorganized that day. Fortunately, a very friendly and smiling waiter redeemed the situation. But I won't be recommending this restaurant.
