Basic food, but nothing offensive. Starters were okay, pate slab with two bits of toast. Fish soup was okay.
Mains of beef bourginion had plenty of meat and flavour. Turkey with mushroom sauce was a little bland. Desserts were fine. Service was good. It was an average meal. Busy place but good service
Thankfully we hadn’t read the reviews before we ate here. Ww arrived in the town just after 3pm and were only there to pass time on until our 8pm shuttle back to the uk. Many of the restaurant ls has stopped serving at 2 or 3pm and has closed their kitchens until evening. So we were limited with choices.
However we sat down after asking the waitress if they were still serving and she had said yes. My husband and I both ordered the Moules and fries, Choices of sauces as everywhere else were the same. I had Provençal and my husband garlic. We each had a beer and a bottle of water. Cold beer was brought out quickly and so was the water. Our food also was served fairly quickly and was tasty and plenty of muscles that were open.
Only negative was toilet facilities as the handle came off in my hand when I went to close it and so couldn’t lock the door. Also toilet area was not that clean, which is why I have given 4 stars. But food for us was good and didn’t have the experience others have had from past reviews.
Our overall bill was €45 which we found was pretty good.
