The waiter was incredibly kind, very attentive, responsive to our every need, and had a delightful sense of humor that immediately put us at ease. The food: A real treat! The dishes were excellent, bursting with flavor, and the menu offered a wide selection, ensuring there was something for everyone. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back!

04/04/2026: For my first visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the welcome, the service, and the food. I had a Welsh rarebit, and it was by far the best I've ever had. Truly exceptional—the texture, the taste, everything was perfect. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the desire to serve a high-quality dish. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back.

21/03/2026: Great little restaurant! A big thumbs up for the speculoos apple tart! Everything is homemade, and I discovered a local specialty: Welsh rarebit! Cheddar cheese, bread, ham, and an egg—delicious! The chef actually comes to chat with his customers, which is rare these days, and the waiter was fantastic! Thank you! ❤️

18/07/2026: We ate on the roadside terrace. It was a bit noisy with the passing cars. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The homemade desserts were excellent. The fries and mussels were very good. The service was friendly with a touch of humor. The prices are attractive. We will gladly return.

13/07/2026: I stumbled upon this little restaurant for lunch today. I'm a huge paella fan, so it was the perfect opportunity to try theirs! Honestly, it was excellent, very generous, and perfectly lemony! You can tell everything is homemade and freshly prepared with quality ingredients! The only downside was that I didn't have room for dessert, which also looked delicious! A truly great place where the owners are incredibly welcoming! Thank you so much!

25/06/2026: What a wonderful evening I had at L'Îlot Vert. I sat in the beautiful courtyard, which immediately created a very pleasant atmosphere. When dining here, expectations are naturally high beforehand, but they are more than met. It does not disappoint in any way. I enjoyed the langoustine, the trout, and the soufflé to finish. Truly every dish was prepared perfectly; exactly as hoped, yet with a refinement that slightly surprised me with how good it was. The wine list is also top-notch. What really made the evening complete was the team. The people are incredibly sweet and attentive. Highly recommended!

04/04/2026: A very cozy place, located on a quiet street in Boulogne-sur-Mer. I had a donut and my partner had a brownie; it wasn't exceptional, but it was decent. However, the bubble tea is excellent! Unfortunately, there weren't many flavor options. The service was great, and the owner was very friendly. It's a little pricey, but there are a lot of things to consider, so it doesn't bother me too much. Good experience! I recommend it.

15/07/2026: Spend your money elsewhere if you want a good meal. We ordered: 1x Crab platter 1x Steak with pepper sauce 1x Chicken schnitzel 1x Chicken nuggets with fries The fries were greasy but tasty. The crab arrived cold—just something to be aware of. The nuggets weren't good either—greasy and riddled with holes, so much so that the breading was partially coming off. The turkey steak was okay. But here's the kicker: the steak was ordered medium, and what arrived was like a shoe sole—completely overcooked—I couldn't eat it, so (and I very rarely and reluctantly do this) I complained. The waiter started arguing with me and tried to tell me that "medium" looks like this in France… what a cheek! I asked if he was serious, then he took it back, and I got a new steak—this time half completely raw and half medium. After that, I didn't feel like eating anymore. I hope there are better restaurants in this town - I absolutely advise against this one.

04/07/2026: It's getting more and more disastrous. The owners don't say hello, they're grumpy, they charge you randomly, and the atmosphere is gloomy. You can tell it's changed ownership; the owners smoke and make sandwiches without washing their hands. The display case is disgusting, the containers for the food are dirty. The tables aren't cleaned, people touch their phones, and they don't wear gloves. Luckily, there's a new Subway opening in Boulogne.

19/05/2026: We had a lovely evening at this restaurant. The pros: The decor was very nice. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The salmon with rice and ratatouille was amazing. And the desserts were excellent too! The cons: The tarte flambée wasn't topped enough. The wait between courses was a bit long, but with only two people serving, that's understandable. In short, a lovely evening enjoying a good meal, despite a few areas for improvement.

22/05/2026: I ate there a few days ago. The portions were very generous, but the food was served too hot. The service was a bit slow because takeaway orders were prioritized over dine-in orders.

08/05/2026: We enjoyed the steak tartare and fries (€18) cooked in beef fat. The bruschetta (€16.50) was generously topped. The dessert of the day (€8) was very good. A bottle of wine was around €20. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

03/04/2026: Not particularly drawn to the storefront, which desperately needs a renovation, I was swayed by the reviews. But overall, I was disappointed with my experience. First of all, how can anyone be so unfriendly? The waitress made no effort whatsoever. She spoke curtly, and politeness was clearly not an option. I felt like I was bothering her... if that's really the case, perhaps she should consider a different line of work. As for the meal, well, I won't even mention the ridiculously small portions of soup and cabbage... let's just say that's part of the deal when you order this type of set menu. The fish (sashimi)... the tuna was soggy. Yes, completely waterlogged. As if it had been thawed in water. Very unpleasant. The other dishes were better, but the textures were still rather unpleasant. Disappointed by this restaurant. I paid my bill and left. I will not return there, and next time, if a storefront does not give me a good impression, I will simply walk on by.

14/03/2026: We often order delivery. We've always been satisfied. Nothing is ever forgotten in our orders. The delivery driver is always very pleasant and kind during deliveries. The food is really very good, and we're always fans with every order!
