Um, this restaurant is really, really bad, if not downright awful! The fish was rubbery, and the other dishes were bland and lifeless. Given the poor quality of the food, we didn't order dessert. The wait was long despite there being few customers. In short, avoid it! It's a depressing place, and the neighborhood is ugly to boot, but that's another issue—the concrete jungle of this area.

Contrary to other reviews, we didn't experience an excessive wait. However, the food was nothing special; the competition offers better options at similar prices. Here, the dishes seemed reheated, which is a shame.

The overall quality has declined. Especially the famous Catigot. There were few baby squid, and when you did find them, they were overcooked. The mussels weren't great, and neither were the prawns. The fish was pangasius, and it was overcooked. The sauce, however, was still excellent and saved the dish. The desserts were also very good (grilled pineapple). The service was only average in terms of friendliness. We used to come often, but we won't be going back.

The waitresses gave us a pleasant and warm welcome. The meal was excellent and we enjoyed it on the terrace. All our plates (tuna, cod, burger, etc.) were empty and we had a very enjoyable time.

We ordered the catigot, a house specialty. You need at least two people to order it (if there are more, the portion will be larger). It was delicious, and I highly recommend it. I've been going there specifically for this for about twenty years now. We were more than satisfied. However, I wouldn't give it five stars for the food because the breaded fish on the children's menu is frozen. Being by the sea, you'd expect it to be homemade as well. The service is excellent. Remember to book in advance during peak season.

07/06/2026: It started off well… we ordered a sangria and a pint of beer… it was during the Romaria festival, so they were serving in plastic cups. The sangria was served in a 30cl glass with fruit. We ordered a second round, this time two sangrias which arrived in much smaller glasses… 20cl each, and full of fruit! I pointed out to the waiter that there must have been a mistake with the glass and showed him my first sangria… he told me that he wasn't the one working the bar and that I should go complain inside! Which I did… and then they told me that the bartender had used the wrong glass the first time, that I was lucky, and that I shouldn't complain… except to the owner, of course, who was nowhere to be seen! It's unacceptable to treat your customers like that… especially local ones! This place should be banned!
