A classic town square restaurant - warm and welcoming with an excellent menu. The set menus are excellent - and particularly good value for children. Needless to say Moules Mariere plays a central part. The entrecôte was excellent. Try a glass of the local vin rouge - Clairette D’Adissan. This our second visit over two years - we will return….

Petite brasserie sympa en soirée. Terrasse ombragée par les magnifiques platanes. Carte proposant des plats pour tous les goûts. Très bon service et personnels super. N'hésitez pas à découvrir.

I privatized the restaurant for my retirement. We are very happy with the place, the meal was very good and very generous. We were welcomed with kindness and professionalism. The boss is very attentive and very available. I recommend it for evenings.

Cafe de Plaisance

13/09/2024: Very good, tasty menu. Inexpensive. Absolutely recommended. With a view of the Canal du Midi lock. Unfortunately there is a busy intersection in front of the bar.
29/08/2024: After a not very interesting boat trip, we stumbled upon this café at the end of the quay of Port Neuf. A pretty shaded terrace and a place off the tourist trail and out of time which is worth stopping there. We ate very well among tables reserved by locals who seemed to appreciate the place. And we understand... the dishes are copious, well presented and delicious. The service is family-friendly, jovial and the café dog who passes among the customers is adorable and our daughter really liked it. A place to recommend to tourists looking for authenticity and calm during the summer.
