Brasserie Le Flore sur Thonon-Les-Bains

Don't go to this restaurant. The kitchen is filthy, the toilets are awful, and the place is old and unappealing. My Coke wasn't fresh at all, and the Perrier was overpriced at €3.40 – outrageous! I won't be going back to this brasserie.

I ate at this restaurant for lunch today. The staff was very friendly and the order was taken quite quickly, but unfortunately, what followed was much more disappointing. Shortly after we ordered, they came back to tell us that many of the dishes we had requested were not available, and then that some sauces were also out of stock. Up to that point, that can happen, no problem. However, we waited about an hour before being served. Of the four meat dishes we ordered, only one was actually cooked as requested. When you ask for rare meat and you receive medium-rare, it's quite frustrating, especially for a rump steak that was unfortunately rather dry. It definitely ruined part of the meal for me. In that case, they might as well not have asked for it to be cooked the way it was intended… Another disappointing point: we asked several times for sauces to go with the fries, but nothing arrived. We ended up having to ask the next table for sauces, which was rather inconvenient. The only real positive point about the meal was the butter sauce, which was excellent, truly delicious. The servers remained very pleasant and smiling, but between the numerous unavailable items, the very long wait, the inconsistent cooking times, and the sauces that never arrived, the experience was unfortunately quite disappointing.

We went twice during the week for lunch. Excellent brasserie, the meats, salads, and pizzas were very good, generously topped, and well-seasoned. The service was impeccable. We appreciated being accepted for lunch as a party of five when we arrived at 1:00 PM. The price is reasonable considering the quality and the location on a lovely square in the heart of Thonon. We will definitely return. The food is good and the service is very pleasant—what more could you ask for? Nothing!

A very warm and welcoming restaurant with a friendly and friendly team. The food is excellent and the service is impeccable. The staff is always available and attentive whenever you need anything. You really feel at home there. We hadn't made a reservation and were a group of five, and despite that, we were very well received. I highly recommend it!
