Brasserie Le Gallia sur Saint-Flour

An excellent restaurant in Saint-Flour! The daily menu offers great value for money, and the welcome is warm, friendly, and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed the aligot and sausage—truly delicious! The service is quick and pleasant. A brasserie I highly recommend.

I highly recommend it. Excellent value for money. The meal was very good and a great discovery in some dishes. Top-notch and professional staff, even when busy.

We dined there several times and were never disappointed. The staff is very friendly, and suggestions include sausage, sirloin steak, fries, or aligot. On Fridays, we enjoyed a concert where we could listen to some great music on the terrace.

A superb experience in the beautiful, bucolic, and historic town of Saint-Flour. We crossed the border from Puy-de-Dôme to discover the Cantal region! And we have absolutely no regrets, right down to the last bite! This Gallia restaurant is fantastic! A warm welcome from a lovely young woman in beige, pleasant, smiling, and attentive to her customers, even bringing me a wheelchair-accessible chair. This establishment serves top-quality dishes, and we thoroughly enjoyed the aligot with country ham, the aligot with sausage, and the best was saved for last... a little drumbeat for the specialty pachade with blueberries, absolutely divine!!!! The service was impeccable, the place was spotless inside and out, everyone was smiling, the second waitress was also very kind, and the atmosphere was relaxing and calm, far from the noisy chains and crazy cities! We highly recommend it, truly!!! Lov'Cantal, it's brilliant 🙂

Passing through St Flour... quick service, perfect set menu with country ham salad and croutons, aligot (a cheesy potato dish) and pulled pork cheek, blueberry clafoutis-style tart for dessert, all for 16 euros... friendly and efficient waitress... nice setting... good place and good value for money... well done!
