Brasserie Le Strasbourg sur Lons-Le-Saunier

We had lunch there on a Sunday and were delighted. The dishes were excellent and refined. The service was perfect, even though the terrace was full. I really don't understand the negative reviews. We'll definitely keep this place in mind and return.

We had a wonderful evening at Brasserie Le Strasbourg, enjoyed a delicious meal, and were served very professionally and warmly by a dedicated, attentive, and courteous team. You can tell that everyone here enjoys their work. I can't understand the negative reviews I've read here.

On holiday in Lons-le-Saunier. Discovered this brasserie by chance... good, hearty food. Pleasant service. Friendly waitresses. Beautiful setting on the square. Lovely period interior. ...however, the restrooms are a shame...not up to standard...avoid it.... what a pity.

The steak tartare was underseasoned, and the calf's head was cold and dry. The chicken with morels and Vin Jaune was excellent...

We had a lovely time at Le Strasbourg restaurant. It's well worth a visit for its ambiance and brasserie-style cuisine. As for the ambiance: The terrace is very pleasant on sunny days, and the interior boasts a very chic decor reminiscent of the old theater. It's sumptuous and atypical for a brasserie. As for the food: It's simple and delicious. We tried several dishes: The Comtoise salad, simple yet perfectly executed with quality ingredients (Comté cheese, ham, and walnuts). The Caesar salad, very generous, filled with superb pieces of crispy chicken, hard-boiled eggs with mayonnaise, and Parmesan shavings. The andouillette sausage with fries, accompanied by a wonderfully flavorful creamy sauce. The Bergerie salad, also very hearty and visually appealing. To finish, we shared a Dame Blanche ice cream sundae, whose whipped cream was simply perfect: light and creamy. While the service isn't as fast as at Café du Théâtre, it's still perfectly acceptable, especially since we were on vacation. I recommend this place if you're ever in Lons-le-Saunier!

We had a very pleasant evening at this lovely restaurant. The meal was excellent and the staff were friendly. We chatted with the manager about wines from the Jura and Alsace regions. We will return as soon as possible.
