Brasserie L'Ovale sur Paray-Le-Monial

July 11, 2026: We had a wonderful meal. The service was excellent.

Twenty minutes after we placed our order, the waiter realized he'd forgotten to send it to the kitchen. As a result, we weren't served for an hour. My steak tartare was tasteless; I didn't even finish it. I think Etchebest should pay a visit to this restaurant; they've got a lot to live up to.

The welcome was absolutely fantastic, so incredibly good.

Passing through Paray, we stopped by (a group of four) to eat on the terrace. The staff were very professional and friendly. We had a very good meal. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed a delicious meal on the outdoor terrace – a truly excellent experience. Generous portions, friendly and attentive service. A beautiful spot with a warm and well-appointed interior, spotlessly clean restrooms despite the crowds, and a magnificent, spacious veranda where charm and conviviality reign supreme. Finally, a visit to "L'Ovale," named in homage to rugby 🏉, where a former player, a real "big guy," works behind the bar. A humble and highly professional individual. A wonderful time, thank you to the whole team! 🙂

Tourist restaurant, it's okay in a pinch but the quality isn't great, except for the ratatouille which was very fresh with good olive oil.
