Brasserie Mino sur La Roche-Sur-Foron

Very pleasant staff. Service was quite fast for a Sunday lunchtime with a full terrace. Very good. It's great to be back at our local brasserie, Brasserie Rochoise.

Excellent from start to finish! My first time at Mino and I was so pleasantly surprised. From the reasonable wait time between each course, to the efficient staff who were clearly happy to work there, the fresh fish with its artful and delicious presentation, and the homemade dessert, I was delighted! I also loved the ambiance and lighting, the reasonable noise level… in short, nothing but praise, thank you for this wonderful experience.

The service was top-notch; everyone was polite and friendly, a rare thing these days. As a bonus, the food was excellent.

Brasserie Mino is a wonderful discovery for me in the heart of La Roche-sur-Foron, perfectly embodying what one expects from a contemporary brasserie. The overall atmosphere is both lively and welcoming, offering a modern setting where you immediately feel at ease, whether for a brisk lunch break or a more relaxed lunch. The well-thought-out layout and the dynamism emanating from the place give the establishment a truly convivial feel, making this restaurant a natural meeting point for regulars and passersby alike. As for the food, the restaurant demonstrates solid expertise and a meticulous approach to selecting ingredients. The dishes skillfully blend brasserie tradition with modern touches, with expertly cooked dishes and balanced seasonings that highlight the freshness of the ingredients. Whether it's the flavorful cuts of meat, the thoughtfully chosen daily specials, or the indulgent homemade desserts, the generous portions never detract from the exquisite execution. The value for money is perfectly balanced and reflects a genuine respect for the customer. The service plays a vital role in the success of this experience, thanks to a caring, friendly, and efficient team. Even during peak hours, when both the dining room and the terrace are bustling, the organization remains seamless, and the welcome never loses its natural courtesy. I appreciate the speed of service, which never compromises the warmth of the interaction, as well as the expert advice on the menu and drinks. Brasserie Mino is a reliable and generous restaurant that I wholeheartedly recommend for its consistency and professionalism.

A warm welcome. A generous menu and an atmosphere that has stood the test of time, even more so since the change of ownership! I highly recommend it. Always satisfied every time 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Delicious food and fresh produce! Always so good!

A lovely place to share a drink with loved ones. We chatted and laughed to the sound of bluegrass. The staff are friendly and responsive.

Excellent value for money. Generous and delicious dishes, served by attentive staff. The large, shaded terrace is a real bonus. I recommend it 200%!

Welcoming and friendly, a lovely spot to have lunch and watch the world go past from the terrace. Lovely food and good service. Edit August 2026 A year later still 5* in my opinion. I had a couple of really nice lunches here during my stay, great food, great service, definitely my favourite place to eat in La Roche.

What a lovely spot right next to the town hall! I highly recommend having lunch there. The portions are generous, the ingredients are high quality, and the presentation is lovely. This brasserie is a local institution that has retained all its charm. The staff is attentive and courteous. If you're stopping in this small town, a visit to Mino's will be the perfect addition to your outing.
