I came with my uncle for lunch today around 2:30 PM. We sat on the terrace, which was a bad idea because the waiters hardly ever came. My uncle ordered linguine with oyster mushrooms in a basil cream sauce, and I had a ribeye steak with pepper sauce. The dishes were good, but my uncle's pasta was barely lukewarm, if not cold. And that's where the problems started. We asked the waiter to reheat it, and apparently, it hadn't been done somewhere in the kitchen. After a 15-minute wait, my uncle called again to find out where his dish was. They brought him his dish, which was scalding hot—they'd overheated it—and I had already finished my ribeye. It's a shame because the setting is nice, but the service was appalling, especially since it wasn't very busy. It's a pity because it spoiled the pleasure of having lunch together with my uncle. The idea is to eat together, not one at a time. One small detail: they also forgot to bring bread, the bare minimum! An important detail: I mentioned our incident to the manager as we were leaving, and even while they were clearing our plates. All he did was say, "Sorry." No gesture of goodwill whatsoever, not even an offer of a free coffee or any other compensation. Appalling.

Nice place in the 12th arrondissement of Paris.
