Discovered this restaurant open on a Sunday in Kaysersberg (during the off-season), with non-stop service for a small classic or reimagined tarte flambée 👌💯. We stopped for a quick coffee and snack.
The welcome was warm and professional, the atmosphere calm and relaxing, and the service quick.
We ordered two coffees (nothing extraordinary), but I had a homemade lemon meringue tart 😍💯👌😍. The price was truly in line with the overall quality.
We'll be back for a meal because the menu looks tempting. I highly recommend it.

It was a Wednesday night in January. Us “tourists” and a couple of tables of locals. Good service, delicious beer and beef filet.

Best tarte flambée in Alsace so far, the mushrooms were so natural instead of buttons ones I’ve had on a forestière elsewhere (they thankfully took the lardon off with no problem so it would be vegetation for me) The special one was amazing too, with blue cheese and honey. Great deserts too.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a shopkeeper in Kaysersberg. Home-style cooking, we ate very well. A great experience.

I went there to order two tarte flambées to take away.
The restaurant was quite busy, the service could have been warmer, but the tarte flambées were very good once reheated. I recommend it!

We came for drinks, a group of 14. The woman who greeted us told us to sit at the table for 8 and squeeze onto the banquette; she said not to take any other chairs, they were for the other customers. So basically, we weren't good enough customers... There was another table for 8 next to us, "available" but unoccupied, so we could easily have extended our table and improved our comfort. Luckily, a waiter came by later to give us 3 more chairs at our table for 14 people. So, the welcome was a bit "terrible," but everything else went well.

So excellent that we went back the next day! Warm welcome, smiling staff, generous and delicious dishes, excellent and hearty homemade desserts... A very nice wine list too! A feast for the eyes and the taste buds! An address to remember!!!!

A wonderful discovery! The staff are very friendly despite the crowds at the market, and the food is delicious and served quickly. We highly recommend it, and the kids do too!
