If we could give more stars, we absolutely would!
L’Alchémille was a truly exceptional discovery. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable: attentive, warm, and highly professional without ever feeling overbearing.
Each dish was a work of art, both visually and in flavour. The Chef demonstrates a remarkable mastery of ingredients, especially plants and vegetables, creating compositions that feel almost magical. Every plate took us on a journey through herbs and plants, with beautifully balanced and surprising combinations.
I chose the vegetarian menu while my husband opted for the regular menu, and we were both equally delighted from start to finish: every course was thoughtful, refined, and absolutely delicious.
The commitment to locally sourced ingredients shines through in every bite, elevating the entire experience. The wine selection was equally impressive; we chose local pairings and discovered some truly unique and memorable Alsatian wines.
By the end of the evening, we were in complete agreement: L’Alchémille fully deserves its Michelin star, and if it were up to us, it would certainly have at least two.
A truly unforgettable culinary experience.

A truly wonderful discovery and marvelous dishes. A perfect marriage of nature and flavor. Tastefully decorated, cozy and calm, with a magnificent wooden workbench in the center, steeped in history. The staff is exceptional, offering a warm welcome. And Chef Jérôme, with his poetic touch, crafts each dish with heart and passion. It's truly inspiring.

We had the five-course menu in the evening.
The amuse-bouche was a trio of pickled onions, smoked wild boar, and herbs on moss—nothing particularly stood out.
This was followed by potato mousse with a wonderful consistency and lightness, a very delicate flavor, and a lovely sensory experience thanks to the tiny garlic croutons.
The subsequent pickles—various pickled vegetables—were too acidic for my taste and not a suitable start to the meal.
The catfish from the Rhine with vegetable broth, pine aroma, and radicchio was somewhat bland in flavor and too natural in its aroma.
The main course was a very good cut of beef, accompanied by Jerusalem artichokes prepared in two different textures. Here, too, a bit more flavor would have been desirable.
As preparation for dessert, an interesting "Eau de Plantes" infusion with a medicinal-tasting oil was served. Not sweet.
For dessert, fennel with chocolate—a very tasty combination. The other small desserts were also very successful.
The evening brought surprises with highs and lows; overall, all courses were prepared with great care and effort – however, there remained the feeling that the naturalness of the ingredients was emphasized too much and the aromatics were lacking.
