Briocherie Lelong sur Tours

I tasted the small plain brioche. If I had known, I would have taken two. It was good without being too sweet.

I've always been warmly welcomed, and their brioches are so delicious that whenever I'm in Tours, I make every effort to get some! Despite what some grumblers might say, judging by certain comments! There aren't many high-quality things available these days, so we should take advantage of it!

I've been buying brioches from Lelong for a long time, and I've noticed a decline in quality over the past few months. The service is still as cold as ever, but that's nothing new...

The brioches are good, honestly, but it's good because they're really cheap.

The brioches were very good, no complaints there, but friendliness isn't their strong point... That's still the foundation of any business, after all....

Cheap but rather ordinary brioches.

It's simple: this is the best brioche shop of all the ones I've visited. I simply have to buy two family-sized brioches to ensure at least one arrives at my house. A delight since my childhood, and hopefully it will continue until at least 2025!

The chocolate brioches are delicious!!! The butter is definitely there and it makes them great (except for those with atherosclerosis...). The service is really very formal? A bit cold, but hey, the brioche is good!

The service and atmosphere were rather cold; I had the distinct impression I was bothering them. I ordered an individual plain brioche. My opinion: the texture is very pleasant, slightly crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside. Everything you'd expect from a brioche. However, it was too salty, and this overpowered the slightly buttery flavor of the brioche, which I unfortunately didn't taste. It's also not at all greasy, which is very nice. If the salt were less pronounced, it would be one of the best brioches I've ever eaten; unfortunately, the salt makes it rather cloying. :(
