C. Reynon sur Lyon

We went to Lyon to try La Belle Aurore's Oreiller. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The service at the shop was perfect.

I tried the famous "Pillow of the Beautiful Aurora" in January because I'd been told it was exceptional. To be perfectly honest, I found it good, of course, but the recipe is made up of so many ingredients that all the flavors blend together without you being able to distinguish any one in particular, so I prefer a more traditional pâté en croûte with a clearly defined filling. However, what is truly exceptional is the price per kilo of €140, because despite the composition of the filling, half the weight is just pastry and aspic, so it stings a bit!

Pathé duck-crusted pizza was excellent and, most importantly, not too greasy. I recommend it!
