Café à la Fontaine sur Paris

Good meals, good vine and fantastic parisian atmosphere for reasonable prices. I can recommend this place

We recommend the coffee at the fountain, whether in the morning at the café or in the evening at dinner, the whole team is very welcoming. All the meals we had were very good. Thank you for your welcome during our 4 days of business travel.

Je suis plutôt méfiant à l'égard des conseils et les expériences clients, quelque soit le restaurant concerné. Mon avis va dépendre de mon humeur. Si je suis d'humeur badine, je trouverais tout bien, même un peu de retard dans le service des plats, si je suis d'humeur sombre, je trouverais tout moche...A la Fontaine? Le patron se démène comme un fou dans ce petit restaurant plein à craquer (vendredi soir). Mais oui, j'y retournerai car nous venions d'assister à une pièce de théâtre (Le Révizor de Gogol au théâtre du Ranelagh) qui nous avait enchantés !

We had a great dining experience at this restaurant. We ordered steak and fries and a tagine. Unfortunately, the steak was overcooked (medium-well), which was a bit disappointing as we expected it to be more tender. However, the tagine was outstanding – the meat was tender and full of flavor, and the root vegetables and couscous were cooked to perfection. For dessert, we had a generous cheese platter, which was a real treat – each cheese was more delicious than the last! We also tried the crème brûlée, which was good and made for a lovely finish to the meal. The red wine we had, along with the IPA I drank, were excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was friendly. The location in the 16th arrondissement is a real plus – easily accessible, yet quiet and charming. We would definitely be happy to return!

Très bel endroit, accueil très chaleureux, excellente cuisine, plat vegetarien au top, on a tellement aimé qu'on y a dîné 2 fois durant notre week-end parisien. Ils nous ont accepté avec le sourire à 23h. Vin bio à la carte également.
