Cafe Albert 1er sur Bastia

Very good cafe in the area. They have breakfast options at reasonable prices and the service is good; the waiter and waitress are very friendly.

Quick and friendly service with attractive breakfast options! We come back every year!

We had the breakfast deal, plus a hot chocolate for €11. Everything was just average. One slice of toast, and it was the bottom of the bread… The roll was standard, almost mass-produced. The coffee was mediocre. The hot chocolate was mediocre, it tasted like water. We were a bit disappointed with this first experience. The service was friendly, though, and the atmosphere in the square early in the morning is really peaceful.

I went there for breakfast. The place was beautiful and pleasant. The waiter was very friendly, and the drinks and food were very good. However, I found the €7.80 set menu a bit pricey considering the amount of food served.

From the ferry straight to a French breakfast – perfect. Moist, crispy croissants, baguettes, and espresso that tastes even better with a double shot. And all with attentive service. Merci!

A very warm welcome, the waitress was very professional, and the breakfast was generous! We'll be back!

A waitress at her wit's end at 8:30 in the morning. I shudder to think what she'll be like at 6:00 PM.

We opted for the breakfast package at €7.80 per person. The package was very good, however, we found it a bit pricey to pay an extra €2 compared to the smaller option just for a small piece of bread. + The location is nice.
