Café Brant sur Strasbourg

We came despite the 3.9 rating... Somewhat disappointed... I asked to change the sauce (described as "on the side") because I didn't like the one they had planned, and they asked for an extra charge, even though I would have been happy to use the sauce from another dish on the menu, so without any extra effort... For a very elegant restaurant/brasserie, which I suppose aims for a certain level of prestige, I found that a bit petty and lacking in class... Personally, since I didn't order any sauce, I didn't ask for a discount! Finally, the refinement of the cuisine doesn't match the prices, which, while not excessive, suggest a bit more effort. You get the feeling the establishment is complacent and not trying to attract new customers. We each ordered one dish; it was good, but nothing special. On the other hand, the service was very pleasant, professional, and friendly, up to standard, the terrace was shaded, and despite the cars, it remained relatively quiet. Then again, it was a Sunday... Ultimately, the rating is justified.

The waiters are very attentive, the welcome is warm, and the meal is very good. I highly recommend it.

A superb, charming, and typical brasserie with excellent, fast, and high-quality service. The ambiance is carefully curated, right down to the details, with tablecloths adding a touch of class. The cocktails are also very good, and a special mention goes to the perfectly prepared steak tartare. A truly wonderful place.

Right next to the Russian consulate, which we visit regularly, easy parking, and above all, a chance to enjoy a pleasant moment around nicely set tables and avoid Strasbourg city center, which is a real nightmare to navigate.

We were greeted by Lucille and her smile, then the excellent service was provided by Sahra, and the pear tart was delicious. I recommend this establishment.

As always here, the service was outstanding, warm, and highly professional, with a special mention for the manager and Charlotte. Always smiling, quick service, delicious food. The setting is also superb. It's a place you'll return to with the same pleasure, whether for get-togethers with friends, coffee breaks, or business lunches.
