Super nice atmosphere, great staff and delicious food at a very good price

We saw a show at the Bataclan and just meandered around after the show looking for a place that was open at 11pm. We found Chez Gaston and we were warmly invited in. It was a chilly night but we enjoyed their patio, cocktails, and delicious food. The filet de Beouf was tender and hearty. Drinks were superb. Service was fantastic. Our waitress couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating to two Americans. She did welcome me practice my elemental French too. 10/10 would recommend.

It’s a very good restaurant, its plates a so well-made and they have huge variety. Moreover, it’s one of the best places to take brunch! Also is ideal for tourists or non-French speakers because they speak English too and staff is very polite :)

We were there for brunch. The formula was excellent! Large quantities and very good dishes. The pancakes and toasts were superb. The service was fast. I recommend!

Welcome and friendly service, a pleasant place

My opinion would have been very different a few months ago before the change of teams (poor reception for lunch, nice menu at first glance but disappointment when tasting) New manager, new decor, new menu. Good feedback from people in the neighborhood... Go to try it on a Sunday lunchtime! I'm one of those who are rather anti-brunch because I don't find any interest in it and here, I was pleasantly surprised! I went there with a group of friends, including a vegan and a celiac (group of ch... 🤐 Complicated people...huhu) and everyone was able to find what they wanted, which is not always easy, plus it was tasty! Almost everything is homemade, right down to the peanut butter, the products are fresh and well cooked. Special mention to the BBE salmon with a just runny egg as I like. My husband particularly enjoyed the toast with marinated/panko breaded chicken and the maple syrup and fresh fruit pancakes. Good feedback also from my friends on the chia bowl and the gluten-free marble cake. Very efficient and pleasant servers. Received with a smile, we did not wait to take our order and the dishes arrived relatively quickly even though the place was crowded. The price is in line with local prices and the value for money is satisfactory. The icing on the cake was that my dog ​​was given a bowl of water and some treats. Congratulations to the new team! Very good experience. We will come back

The staff at Chez Gaston were genuinely friendly and attentive, which made our visit quite pleasant. We opted for the bacon cheeseburger, which unfortunately fell short of expectations. While it wasn't terrible, it also wasn't remarkable. The burger patty lacked flavor, seemingly lacking salt to enhance the taste. Additionally, the sauce on the burger was barely discernible. Despite these shortcomings, our overall experience was decent.
