Le Comptoir de Bègles is a wonderful discovery. Here, you immediately sense that the food is homemade, with carefully prepared ingredients. The fish is cooked to absolute perfection, precise and expertly executed, which is sadly becoming quite rare and deserves to be highlighted. The owner adds a touch of humor that instantly puts you at ease, while the service is impeccable: attentive, warm, and incredibly kind, without ever being intrusive. A place where you feel comfortable, where you eat remarkably well, and where you already want to return. A truly fantastic experience!

Impeccable welcome and service, punctuated with a great sense of humor. Every dish we tasted, from appetizer to dessert, was excellent. Everything was perfect; a lovely stop for us on our way to our vacation!

I had an amazing evening at Le Comptoir de Bègles. The welcome was warm and the service efficient; the waiters were attentive and smiling. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the atmosphere was very pleasant; you really felt at home. The price was very reasonable, and I'd go back in a heartbeat!

I felt that everything was perfect at "Le Comptoir de Bègles": a warm atmosphere, a welcoming smile, attentive and careful service, and a very pleasant setting. The value for money is also excellent. The wait was almost nonexistent and the cleanliness was impeccable.

11/08/2026: Beyond the excellent catering service for banquets, this is a "secret" address you have to find (in a private house), but you won't miss it when there are so many cars parked on the street (even on weekdays and at lunchtime)! The menus are reasonably priced, and even very generous considering the portions! You go there to eat well. With good wines at reasonable prices. So it's a popular spot, and it's advisable to reserve a table if there are more than two of you. Nothing to complain about. And if the UBB players come here... there's a nice reference to the Top 14! 🏉 We'll definitely be back! 🍴🍷🙂
