Arriving unexpectedly at 12:30 without a reservation, we were lucky enough to get a table on the terrace overlooking the ocean; it's definitely best to book in advance.
The salads were excellent, very generously topped. The dessert was also very good.
The service was pleasant and relatively quick considering how busy it was.

This is undoubtedly one of the most pleasant terraces in La Rochelle. Located near a promenade, facing the ocean, it's the perfect place to enjoy a brasserie-style meal featuring fresh, local ingredients. The service is a little slow, but the staff is friendly. Reservations are recommended.

We know that it's not feasible to come for lunch when you're working, given the 30-minute wait for our food, so we won't be repeating the experience. Thank you to the waiter for his welcome, however, we had the impression of bothering the person who took the payment.
