We know that it's not feasible to come for lunch when you're working, given the 30-minute wait for our food, so we won't be repeating the experience. Thank you to the waiter for his welcome, however, we had the impression of bothering the person who took the payment.

An iconic spot in La Rochelle!
The owner is very friendly! However, the young waiter wasn't very friendly or smiling.
It's a shame that in such a lovely setting, you're not greeted with a smile and kindness.

On the boulevard and the coast of La Rochelle, you will find this wonderfully charming café where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, just like we did. And we certainly did! We thoroughly enjoyed the local products. And the service was top-notch! A lovely hostess who was very friendly.

At Café de la Corniche, seats are hard to come by… let me tell you why!
☀️ The view is exceptional — facing the ocean, it's undoubtedly one of the most beautiful spots in La Rochelle to admire the sunset.
🚴♀️ There's plenty of space, so children can ride their bikes while the adults relax.
🍽️ You can also have lunch there: simple, delicious dishes served with a smile.
😊 The staff is lovely, always welcoming and attentive.
🌊 The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with that little hint of vacation that's so refreshing.
A perfect place for a coffee, lunch with friends, or an aperitif overlooking the sea. A true haven of happiness in La Rochelle! 💛
