Having discovered this place on M6, we had high expectations for our visit. Our first impression upon arrival was cold; the owners weren't welcoming, which dampened the overall atmosphere. Fortunately, the food was good and the rest of the team was friendly, but we felt sorry for them working in such unpleasant conditions. The terrace on the pedestrian street was lovely, and the restaurant itself was nicely decorated. It's a real shame that the owners don't reflect the quality of their establishment.

Varied menu, good value for money (set menu: starter, main course, dessert for €30). Very pleasant service, although a little disorganized. The terrace is perfect for a lovely summer evening 🌞

We rarely eat out, and when we do, we make a point of eating fresh, local produce. We had a wonderful meal; we were delighted by both the food and the friendliness and good humor of the staff. Thank you for this delightful culinary experience.

19/07/2026: Generous portions of crepes, service a bit slow but friendly. Very pleasant location, lovely shaded terrace. The crepe batter was good but the filling was low quality.
17/07/2026: We stopped for lunch and weren't disappointed. The savory buckwheat crepes were generously filled, the ingredients were high quality, and the sweet crepes for dessert were just as good. The service remained pleasant despite the crowds, and the location on the Old Port is ideal for enjoying the setting. A great place to eat a crepe in La Rochelle.

06/08/2026: A restaurant that deserves to be better known, with generous portions, fast service, and attractive prices: it's far from a tourist trap.
20/07/2026: I must be feeling nostalgic 😅 I loved this restaurant for its charmingly rustic 80s vibe, so simple and welcoming. But also for the quality of the food and the chef's smile. You can actually see the chef at work because everything is in full view of the customers on some tables. Not even a microwave there, so forget about frozen food... I thought back to my grandfather when we used to prepare snails (called "cagouilles" here) or the eels he'd caught together, and it brought tears to my eyes... One more thing, it seems to be the local favorite, and when you keep coming back, it's because you're well received 😘 In short, I loved it! I can't wait to go back to La Rochelle.
