Café de la ferme sur Le Monetier-Les-Bains

Stopped for a coffee break, excellent coffee and nice staff.

Of course you have to stop at this place, every col is a bit magic. Fortunately, this Cafe doesn't take advantage of its audience and has nice people serving good food.

Superb welcome and very good menu. The ravioli gratin is very hearty and delicious. The setting is very beautiful.

I was served a very good dish of the day, Marengo veal, which perked me up to come back down the 40 km climb by bike from Bourg d'Oisans.

Truly remarkable breakfast of chocolate and briche and pan au chocolat. It's worth it

It’s a must, facing the mountains. It was the day we left, we will surely come back, and we have known this café restaurant for so long, already as children, then parents and now grandparents. Go there without problems.

When you make a trip over this awe inspiring col. What better thing to do but stop for a cafe and stack. This cafe has an amazing view looking back over the mountains to the glaciers and mountain turrets. A friendly smile is provided with the service of excellent coffee and a range of snacks. There is a lot more on offer to eat and drink, but for our short stop it was the view and the coffee. Just to be aware you are by the road and car park but that did not detract from the view.
