Café de la ferme sur Le Monetier-Les-Bains

Perfect stop at Café de La Ferme during my trail outing. A more than quality "refreshment"! I was very well received, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They even found me a bottle to refill to compensate for forgetting my water bottle. On special request, they agreed to prepare me a crepe to take away. It had a particularly succulent flavor! I really enjoyed it! I enjoyed this moment! Thank you for everything! I will come back!

The unexpected surprise of my trip! A small menu with classics and lovely creative dishes. Low prices but with top-notch quality cuisine. Fresh, local, artisanal produce, excellent traceable meat, and perfectly cooked. Even dishes that are supposed to be classic, like burgers, were pleasantly surprised: an incredible homemade sauce, homemade burger buns, and the carrot and cumin mash to die for. The chocolate fondant served warm (one of the best I've ever eaten) with exquisite homemade walnut ice cream. And a fantastic team, super friendly, helpful, and always in a good mood, even the doggies! In short, the very affordable prices and the touristy location made me doubt when I arrived, but the quality of the food and service at this price is really great :)

This is a must-visit when we go to the Hautes-Alpes region; a restaurant open every day of the week, all year round! The atmosphere is welcoming and simple, the food is really good, and the decor is breathtaking. Thank you to the entire team and congratulations!

It's impossible not to go there if I'm in the area: either the bistro or the restaurant. You always get a very warm welcome from the server, who's quick, attentive, and very professional, AND the kitchen always offers one or two dishes of authentic local cuisine, in addition to the brasserie-style menu. The terrace is regal, overlooking the glacier, and bustling with all the exhausted bikers, cyclists, hikers, and Sunday strollers. The indoor dining room is often too small when the weather cools down. Don't be put off by the stern expression of the owner at the cash register... he doesn't bite!! and may even say a word about the natural environment. Enjoy this truly lovely place in a magnificent setting: the Col du Lautaret.

Very good salads (the one with Fourme d'Ambert is delicious), but also good warm tartiflette-style pies. Very welcoming and efficient team. Delicious homemade desserts and a magical setting.
