02/04/2024: Quite simply the best pizzas I have eaten so far. For any fan of thin crust pizzas, this is the ideal place!
Every time I enter the restaurant, the unique smells of their paste and tomato sauce move me.
When it comes to their pizzas, whether sophisticated, original or simple, Il Pizzaiolo always offers high quality dishes at a competitive price.
You will find their creations there (special mention to the pumpkin cream pizza) but also their calzones! Have you ever seen calzones this big?! Well I do, at Il Pizzaiolo!
The honey goat's cheese calzone, I have to talk about it... Finally a pizzeria that offers real honey! And not the honey sold for restaurateurs in a kind of shampoo bottle, you see?
As for the rest of the menu, I haven't tasted it, but it won't be long...
Anyway, it's all these little qualitative details coupled with the very reasonable price that made me understand that it's going to be very difficult to find better for this type of pizza. Because yes, as a good scientist, I have the reflex of always wanting to find something better than what works and if I don't succeed after 10 years, then that's a very good sign....
13/03/2024: Good restaurant where you can enjoy good pizza at a more than fair price-quality ratio. The dough is fine, the ingredients refined and the result exudes passion and a job well done. Small downside on the 4 cheeses which is not really one in reality but I am finicky, it was excellent. Too bad about the acoustics which are quite bad in the room, I will still go back with pleasure.
