Café de la Plage sur Urrugne

I discovered this restaurant with my friend Eric; it's a wonderful place. We had a very good dinner, and the Irish coffee was fabulous. Thank you!

The food was very well prepared, and the welcome and service were excellent.

Passing through Hendaye, and on a recommendation, I was welcomed by Maryse for a delicious dinner that deserves 5 stars. I highly recommend this restaurant. See you soon, fellow Toulousains!

If you're a fish lover, go for it! I was really craving sole, and I wasn't disappointed. The grilled sole was magnificent; I thoroughly enjoyed it, with a varied and delicious side dish. The setting is particularly pleasant: the pretty, shaded, flower-filled terrace completely makes you forget the nearby road. In fact, you can barely hear the cars, and you quickly disconnect. As for the service, despite the crowd, the team managed perfectly; the wait was short, and a cheerful atmosphere prevailed. In short, we had a wonderful time and a delicious meal—a place to recommend.

An incredible discovery! 🤩 A warm and respectful welcome, the owner is truly lovely, as is the entire team. The tastes, the flavors, the quality of the ingredients, the authentic and generous cuisine—and yet we are used to the fine dining establishments of the Basque Coast, but this time we found a little gem in a wonderful setting nestled in a wisteria-covered pergola. We had a lovely welcome on arrival, we were seated promptly, we had a couple of questions about the menu, our server answered the questions and explained the menu in detail, the food was of good quality and my meal was perfect, my wife thought her portion was small for the price but admitted it tasted great, the puddings were very tasty, we would return.

The food is very good and well prepared. However, the portions are a bit small and the staff's welcome seemed rather cold to me.
